Back plate of dimmer switch can be mounted to a wall if desired. Dimmer switch is magnetic and can be removed from the back plate which allows it to be used as a remote control with a range of up to 40 feet. Also compatible with the Philips Hue Bridge and other Philips Hue family accessories. CSA (Canadian Standards Association) and UL (Underwriter's Laboratories) listed. 2-year warranty.
